Paradise Hotel Busan lists different closure exceptions for CIMER and its Ocean Spa Pool. SIGNIEL BUSAN also closes its indoor pool on a regular monthly date. Match the swimming date and facility to your plans before choosing a room.

Match the swimming date to the facility first

If you are choosing a Haeundae hotel for a swim, check whether the pool you want will be open on your stay date before comparing room views. Paradise Hotel Busan operates Ocean Spa CIMER in the Main Building and the outdoor Ocean Spa Pool in the New Building as separate facilities. SIGNIEL BUSAN has indoor and outdoor pools. Treating all four as one pool makes it easy to misread an exception in a closure notice.

The Paradise Hotel Busan facilities page, checked on October 28, 2026, lists the usual closure on the fourth Wednesday of each month. It also says the outdoor Ocean Spa Pool will operate as usual on November 25 and Ocean Spa CIMER on December 16. Each exception applies to a different facility. The notice does not give a year for these dates.

SIGNIEL’s indoor and outdoor pool pages give the last Wednesday of each month as the regular closure date, with normal operation in July and December. Because Paradise’s November and December dates have no year, do not treat them as a confirmed schedule for a particular year or assume the other hotel will have an open substitute facility. Before booking, give both hotels your stay year, date and the facility you want to use, and confirm its operation.

Based on public notices viewed on 28 October 2026. Confirm the notice year and whether it applies to your stay dates before booking.

Paradise Hotel Busan: choose CIMER and the Ocean Pool separately

If relaxing in the water is central to your stay at Paradise, start by checking CIMER. It is the Ocean Spa on the fourth floor of the Main Building. The outdoor Ocean Spa Pool is a separate facility on the fourth floor of the New Building. Similar sea-facing photos do not make the two places interchangeable. Your choice depends on whether you want a spa setting to linger in or a pool where swimming is part of the plan.

If water facilities are central to a Paradise stay, decide whether Ocean Spa CIMER or the outdoor Ocean Spa Pool matters more to you. A monthly exception may apply to only one facility. If you consider SIGNIEL as an alternative, check its indoor and outdoor pools separately before choosing a room.

The general schedule for both facilities is divided into four sessions: 08:00 to 11:10, 11:30 to 14:40, 15:00 to 18:10 and 18:30 to 21:50. The notice says everyone must leave at the end of each session while the facility is cleaned for 20 minutes. Do not plan to enter in the morning and stay through the evening. Choose one session and allow time to change in your room and reach the facility. A session timetable and opening on a closure date are separate conditions.

The official facility page describes one use per night and conditions for additional use. That wording does not mean every room rate includes both facilities at no charge. Check the offer you are buying for CIMER and the Ocean Pool separately, including the number of guests and permitted entries. When adding admission to the room cost, use the booking confirmation to avoid counting an included package benefit twice.

CIMER’s Kids Zone also has conditions separate from ordinary CIMER opening. The official notice says the Kids Zone closes in winter and during rain. Adult access to the spa does not establish that the children’s water-play area will be open at the same time. If you are traveling with a child, give the hotel the child’s age and ask about the area you need. Do not treat this general facility comparison as a guarantee that every family member can enter.

The Main Building Deluxe City room is one comparison point. The official listing gives 33 square meters and King, Twin or Ondol types. Check which bedding type you are selecting; the word City does not mean a sea view. If you expect to return to the room between swims, consider the beds and the space you need to shower and change before focusing on the view. A room name alone also does not confirm that pool access is included.

Paradise is worth considering if time at CIMER is the main purpose of the stay and you can confirm both the date-specific exception and the package benefit. If swimming in the Ocean Pool is essential and it will be closed, a higher room category will not meet that need. A different stay date when both facilities can be used may fit better. When comparing rooms, check the building, bedding and facility benefits together.

SIGNIEL BUSAN: check the regular closure even when you want the indoor pool

SIGNIEL is an option for travelers who want to consider indoor swimming and an outdoor view at the same hotel. Both pools are on the sixth floor. The usual hours are 06:00 to 22:00 for the indoor pool and 09:00 to 22:00 for the outdoor pool. The later opening outdoors matters if you are planning a morning swim. These hours describe normal operating days; they do not cancel the regular closure.

The official pages for both pools give the same rule: closed on the last Wednesday of each month, with normal operation in July and December. An indoor pool can be an alternative when weather makes the outdoor pool unsuitable, but it does not help if both pools are closed on their scheduled day. The notice gives no basis for expecting the indoor pool to open on a regular closure date. If swimming is essential to your trip, consider moving your stay first.

The official Premier Twin Mipo Harbor View room page says the stay includes complimentary access to the indoor and outdoor pools. The same page limits access to once a day in July and August. Do not apply that summer limit automatically in autumn, or describe autumn access as unlimited in every circumstance. Check the number of entries and the closure date that apply to your own booking.

Pool admission and add-on facilities are separate. The outdoor pool page lists cabanas and some sun loungers as paid facilities. Complimentary pool access for hotel guests does not mean every seat or area shown in a photo is free to use. Check the extra terms before booking if a dedicated place to rest is important to you. This article does not calculate an extra cost because no stay date or number of guests has been set.

The indoor pool requires a swim cap. Children aged 13 or younger may use it with an adult guardian. Check the outdoor pool’s accompanying-person conditions as well; wind, rain and safety decisions can interrupt outdoor operation. Bringing a swim cap and confirming a child’s eligibility are separate from checking whether the outdoor pool will operate on the day. A sunny photo does not establish the weather or operating status on your visit.

The Premier Twin Mipo Harbor View room used for comparison is listed at 44 to 49.9 square meters, with twin beds and a bathtub. Read the room name together with the official description of a Dalmaji-gil view, and confirm the view direction and assignment range you want. A photo does not guarantee the same view from every room. Paradise’s 33-square-meter Deluxe City has different area, bedding and view wording, so the two listings are not a like-for-like price comparison.

SIGNIEL may suit you if you want an indoor swim on a normal operating day and plan to return to a larger room to rest. If the last-Wednesday closure falls during your stay, the indoor pool does not fill that gap. Decide whether you would still want the stay if you could not swim, even if the room size and view appeal to you. Read the pool benefit and date conditions on the room page before choosing.

Plan time outside the hotel around Haeundae and Mipo

The hotels are in the same Haeundae beach area but have different addresses. Paradise is at 296 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro; SIGNIEL is at 30 Dalmaji-gil. Match the exact property and entrance in your taxi app, map and booking confirmation. A beach photo or a short distance on a map does not remove the final leg with luggage. If you switch hotels to avoid a pool closure, you still need to account for the new check-in time and the transfer with your bags.

You could walk toward Haeundae Beach or Mipo while a hotel facility is unavailable. A walk is not the same experience as swimming for someone who planned to use a pool. Add an outing only if you have enough time outside the hotel and resting in the room still fits your reason for staying. Public-place photos help identify the surroundings; they do not prove current access conditions or facility operation.

If you plan to take a train or Sky Capsule from Mipo, check the operator’s ticket and boarding conditions separately from your hotel stay. This article covers the nearby walking context, not ticket availability or waiting times. Separating a day for one pool session from a day with a longer outing can clarify what you want from the hotel. Going out does not automatically make up for a hotel facility you could not use.

On a windy or rainy day, a beach walk and an outdoor pool may both be poor alternatives. If you expect to spend more time in the room, check that the bedding, area and bathroom suit you. If you need an indoor pool, first confirm that SIGNIEL is operating that day. If CIMER is your priority, confirm the status of the relevant Paradise facility. Revisit the time you wanted to spend at the hotel before adding more sightseeing.

The western shore of Haeundae Beach and Dongbaek Island’s Chulleong Bridge and lighthouse are optional separate walk ideas, not pool substitutes. Check the route, access and weather on the day; walking time and mobility access are not guaranteed.

Before paying, check the date, facility and rate together

Ask the hotel a specific question instead of only asking whether it has a pool. For example: “I plan to stay on this date in this year and would like to use CIMER and the New Building Ocean Pool separately. Which facilities will operate, and how many guests and entries does my rate include?” At SIGNIEL, name the indoor and outdoor pools separately. Keep the notice you checked and the answer about your booking together so you can compare the conditions.

A one-night stay spans two dates: arrival and departure. If one date is a regular closure, check whether you can use the facility on the other day. Do not assume that access before check-in or after check-out is included. Confirm the valid period for any admission, the guests registered to the room, where you can change and whether luggage storage is available under your booking. If you are counting on a short swim on departure morning, first check how much usable time remains.

When comparing booking channels, match the stay dates, guest count, room, meals, facility inclusion and cancellation terms. A cheaper room may exclude pool access or have a less flexible rate, which changes the original comparison. If a hotel’s general description and the offer for sale differ, confirm which terms apply before paying. No stay date or guest count has been provided, so this article does not calculate prices, availability or room capacity or rank the hotels by cost.

If swimming is essential, choose a stay date whose operation you can confirm. Paradise may suit someone whose purpose is relaxing in CIMER and whose date matches its exception notice. SIGNIEL may suit someone who wants an indoor morning swim and room time on a normal operating day. A room booking by itself does not mean every facility is open. Set the part of your day you most want to keep, then choose the hotel.
